OMG
the roland you used to play THIS got ripped off 4 years ago? that is TERRIBLE! i'm so sorry - hope you replaced it with something you liked equally well - what do you use now? man ... i can't stop listening to this, it is fabulous! :)

deal
thanks ! - well - this is funny - I was being looked out for - I was extemely fortunate to dive into a fantastic unbelievable deal on craigs list -shortly thereafter - 2 identical boards for less than the expected price of one (Ensoniq ZR76). . . thanks for reading . . . scott . . .( There is a long story as to - well - I now know pretty much just who stole the boards )

also
sorry to keep babbling - when I wrote "boards" - yes - another one was also swiped at the same time - it was an old korg m-1 - but that particular thing was shoddy anyway

What the...
How did you get the Phrygian mode to sound sooo cool? Loved the false cadence near the end and the lush washes building to the ending, but the whole thing was just wonderful. Excellent composition and playing, wow! Just the right kind of modern touches mixed with strong melody and bounce.

Action
- good to read from you - That roland had consistent, smooth, solid quick-bouncy 'action' - but was a little muddy in the lower octaves . . .
I guess it could be 'E.Q.ed' away o.k.
I hope someone else is enjoying it !!

Etude
Wouldn't Phrygian have a flat 2? I always get my modes mixed up. In any event, this is wonderfully sprightly and detailed, impressively played.

hi !
Yah !- in signature it uses an F natural - so first to second step is a half-step - making this song easier to perform - lots of white keys - and the E-phrygian scale itself is all white keys It think -
making the pattern : half, whole, whole, whole, half, whole, whole. (ascending) - I like the nine-tone scales - those are fun too - LOL

oh I know what you mean now . . .
oh yes too - I know what you meant now - of course this tune - the opening - the song I start in C major -
and then at :26 goes to the more firey phrygian thing - so yah then the 2nd would be a normal full step to 'D' note - and it switches back and forth amongst segments . . .
sections - take care . . . thanks for commenting !
