Description
I had this track posted 2007 but took it of the site just o few weeks later for reasons I don't remember. No good idea because when I now revisit to listen through it, I find it to be a pleasant piece that I surely want the world to hear.

I remember the the tune came into my head while taking the morning tea. It was a pleasant day. I had slept well and long. Half of my mind in still in dreams.

The hardware may be worth mentioning because it gives quite a pleasant sound. It is a Seagull dreadnought guitar with Fishman pickups, lined through a Yamaha AG Stomp. That wonderful guitar was a friends of mine. I would love to own something like that.

hmmmm, it wasn't a good idea ...
to pull it back and depriving people for nearly 3 years from this beautiful tune. Thank you for posting this lovely piece. I really like your acoustic work, for having heard some other songs you did. Enjoyed this very much.

I Can't Believe,
you get such a wonderful acoustic sound by plugging in your acoustic electric guitars. This piece has a beautiful melody that just rings through clearly on top of the harmony in the chord changes. As always your time and phrasing are excellent.

This song is imbued with serenity
I wish they could put this in a cup. It is a morning cup of tea. I can't imagine why you would un-post it, but I am thankful you put it back up. Any other gems you're holding back? Peace. Terry

Whoa, that is a huge sound for a single acoustic. It is filling up the space quite nicely. This is a really pretty piece, and your playing is excellent.

Nicely paced and nicely recorded sound...
A very meditative pace, but not meditative in the sense of being at all boring or sluggish.... Reflecting a mind that is moving, and alive, but tranquil....

Lots of nice resonance, and a great example of a steel string through the AG Stomp, for which I thank you...

I really do wish we heard more from you 'round here, Johannes, though I'm happy that the rest of your life is so satisfying that it calls you away from MacJams....

Always good to hear from you...

Beautiful playing...
... I really like the delicate and gentle touch you have on those strings. The recording is crystal clear... it somehow sounds to me like a traditional tune. Lovely!

Guitar player since 11. Can't play other instruments than acoustic guitars, well maybe aside from instruments that are tuned the same way; like ukulele or bass guitar. In younger years I took inspiration from classical guitar, American acoustic... [see more]
