Description
I'm working with a group of computer game designers from Sweden. At the moment, they are developing a casual game with a pirate theme - light and fun. This is the jingle that I've composed for the opening credits. Short and sweet. I took one of the Apple loops and started with that as the melody, then composed around it. In the process, I changed the loop quite a bit. Enjoy!

A computer game with a pirate theme... Can ye be more specific, matey? That's avast topic! :-)

Congrats on the Swedish connection! Very very cool news indeed... this explains why yer holed up in the bilge and we ain't seen ye fer weeks!

Very cute themelet, has a bit of pirate in it, but with a twinkle in its eye. Crisp and clear orchestration and writing, nice!

Very Cool
Can totally see how this would fit as an opening for a computer game. So cute, and I can picture silly animated pirates dancing around. Awesome work!

Ahoy!
So you are working on a video game, are you? I would like to hear more about that. Are you composing the entire score for the game? Your jingle, because it sounds light and airy, conceals its complexity - it sounds really well thought out to me - if that makes any sense. I am happy for you - congratulations on your career moving along.

Got it
Great balance of the expected and the unexpected harmonically. Clever and effective orchestration. Immediate creation of a setting. Lighthearted but still professional and up to your high standards. In short, a complete triumph. Congratulations on getting the gig and on coming up with some Shay Excellence for your client.

Great!
Very cool atmosphere Shay. I love what you've done here, from the classic voyage sound to the bassy bubbles. Very cool. I can totally picture myself exploring a vast waterway, or wandering through a giant port city trading goods and mingling with the land lubbers. Nice work, definately post the final!

Ay, I've heard of
some pretty good game makers from Sweden. A lot of education programs in that direction as well. So this sounds like a good connection. Music sure goes well with the artwork pirate too :-)

Thanks for sharing.
