This is pretty.
Maybe because of your artwork, I was thinking of a long car ride, looking out at the scenery as it passed by. You miss a lot if you roll on through and never stop. It sounds hopeful and uplifting. Nice one. I liked it. :)

I completely agree
with Demeter's comment. This is a beautiful electro pop song. Also sounds like a music video song!

well
I am very sorry to hear of your loss, what a beautiful piece to honor your brother, I think this is my favorite piece in this genre posted that I have heard so far and I've listened to a bunch! I think you should consider doing another version of this with distinct verse chorus bridge sections and put it up for vocals/melody.

Last Call
This piece is melancholy and hopeful all at the same time. Your thoughts about your brother resonate strongly in this piece. really like the sound fx you used. Especially at the end, with the sirens and the heartbeat. That got me man. great stuff!

What an Enchanting Sound
So much light and air in this. The piano melody is beautiful as are the chord changes. I like the heavy section at 2:12. Nice use of sound effects.

Very Nice_____
I miss my brother (Tom) as well - He lives a thousand miles away. We talk every other month on the phone and see each other every other year - I remember our teen years when we were close. (Long time ago)

Thanks for the memories and sharing,

Enjoyed - mvh : )

A lovely, and loving, piece of work.
Sounds very nice to my ears. Your brother would have enjoyed it too.

thank you all for your kind comments
it was very difficult for me - trying to make a piece of music that reflected my memories of my brother but also my feelins about the events surrounding his death (in a motorcylce accident).

I normally create my songs quite quickly but this has taken about three months - even though there's not that much too it. I may come back to it another time but for now its out there....

Gorgeous
Wow, what a beautiful piece. The chord movement lends the song a sense of, well, resolution and coming to terms. Amazing!

Moving
I don't know what it is about this piece that conects but it just does, melancholy and uplifting at the same time as someone else mentioned. reminded me slightly of Ruici Sakamoto. An excellent and poignant piece. Thanks for posting. mark
