Lyrics
I was thinking
the clock was tick tock
I really dont
want the night to end
I dont want tomorrow to come
I want the moment to last forever
If only time would stop
every moment and the feeling of right now never stops
when forever is here
forever is how long it will be
you can believe
in forever
when time is for
everything
when time is for everthing
time will not be
time will not be if only the nigh
would last forever
if only the night would last forever
time will be time will be time will
time will not be

I was thinking
the clock was tick tock
I really don't want this night to end
i don't want tomorrow to come
I want the moment to last forever
time will stop
every moment was forever
then all will be all all will be all
and this feeling of right now will never stop
when forever is here
forever is how long

it will be

I get this
you've captured just how I feel when I don't want to get out of bed. This is really cool in a sublime and odd way- very artful....

Always
with those way cool over-the-top distorted guitar tones. The groove is hypnotic and matches the atmosphere of the lyric. Strange and cool!

existential...
... mess. That is what we are (at least from our human perspective). Tim, this one hits a good spot. Your production of all the elements seem balanced and just right. You keep honing your art-music... quite well, I must say.

You know...
...I can never quite find the words to describe most of your music--it is entrancing and captivating and has this uncanny way of just getting into your head--and in a most enjoyable manner too. Another good one from you--thanks again!

I feel like
this most of the time, that I don't want to face things but would rather make it all wait until I'm ready. Yeah. It sounds like I feel. :)

Cool
Nice droning guitars and bass.

I like the way the lyrics are put into the song, with the hesitation. That's cool

Good stuff!

oh definitely
a listen. and definitely the bull hit the wall. love the spoken quality of the lyrics. the addition of the little flute licks are just brilliant over that super gritty distorted guitar. you have perfected the art of making these songs sound as though they are stream of conscious. like you're just opening up your head and giving us a brief glimpse of the multilayered chaos within. very cool tim.

I like the grungy fuzz guitars. Drums are interesting, and the synth patches popping up every now and then provide some variety. Has the trippy feel present in a lot of your songs.

sorry....
time stops for no one. but this is a great "in the moment" time to listen to a great e.b. tune. i like the trademark heaviness with all the bells and whistles.

One of your best in a lng line of great tracks
I really like the percolating synthy sounds in the background and the flowing distortion on the bass. Excellent vocal treatment and performance. This is a very cool track. And you always have great drum tracks.

busy lazy
the song nicely tucks you in a sweaty bed and then stifles you. The flutes float like remains of an unfinished dream, and that's a nice touch.

Multilayered, yes--mess, no
What a cool song. Love how you deliver those opening lines that return midway ("I was thinking...") And I really like the mix--the prominence of some of the "weird" elements gives it texture and interest.

Another excellent track - sometimes you stray quite close to melodies which are really haunting, and I hear a few of these in your harmony vocal here. They are all the more memorable in the context of your "wall of fuzz" approach on guitar. You sure have a signature sound, and I like it a lot.
Cheers,
Neil
