nice
I like the floaty quality of this. this is a good pop tune. your voice reminds me a little of julian cope (peggy suicide was a big fav of mine). well done!

Thanks Mr D
Cheers...I am a fan of Mr Cope's early work (Fried album, Tear Drop explodes etc)...I got to see him play a few years back at ATP festival where he was dressed up as some kind of pagan stormtrooper! Cheers for listening in

good one
I really like the melody, words, chords, singing, bass and guitar playing on this one. plus the je ne sais quoi that makes it more than the sum of the parts.
in other words, great song! what was the movie?

hey man
i was working on a tune the other day and mixing the guitar i thought 'this is a stevel sound'. So there you go, you've set a standard.

i like the strings a lot - lots of drama in this tune, a dramatic wordy verse and then a floaty chorus with that toy organ/synth sound. reminded me a lot of a morrissey tune believe it or not. i could hear him singing this. sing along in your head like morrissey - see it works!! lol.

great catchy tune, thanks for the DL. always count on good stuff from you.

Its cool to be thought to have a 'trademark sound' hehe...interesting about the Mozzer aspect you mention, I hadn't considered that but maybe I should send to him to record...what an honour it would be to have the Moz performing your song! Cheers for listening in!

Not only
do you have a guitar "signature sound", but there's also the fog horn!
Nice post Steve - like the keyboard parts and your guitar always works for me. Vocals as usual never fail to be enjoyable.
Cheers from the Antipodes!

yes...trademark stephen lang. your stuff is very commercial...somewhere between niche and pop...and your voice is assured and gravelly as ever. but you sometimes hide it away and it would be good to hear you letting rip on the vocals.
great mix as always - full and rich.
