Description
I recently posted A SMALL REQUEST and was asked by a few to expand it. It may not be what you anticipated but here it is.
Now in three stylistically different but conceptually unified sections A SMALL REQUST has become A LARGER REQUEST. They are: Request, Decision and Acceptance.

Is that Max Von Sydow I see before me?
Michael, you're Macjam's man of a thousand faces.
Happy you dropped in for a listen.
Upon closer inspection is see it is the original Ming the Merciless AKA Charles Middleton.
A sly one you are Michael.
Cheers,
Charlie

You are the boss
Charles, I think you have the last word about the inspiration, and your remaining part of the story is equally deep. I think this is really a successful composition. Am I thinking right, that the decision happened quickly but in a tense context, and the acceptance reflected a smooth, conceding athmosphere ?

Just wonderful Charles it was a great pleasure to listen.

It
did happen quickly. The first post was so short I almost didn't put it up but I felt it was a strong piece and with encouragement the following movements came what was for me very quickly. Thank you Yves for the second listen the the very kind words.
Cheers,
Charlie

It is all together
a very moving composition and though you managed to make your point in 4:32 minutes, I thought, in listening that you managed to slow my internal clock so that the whole "seemed"longer. It had the same effect as meditation does. Pretty powerful tool, music. :)

Maybe
I should listen to this more often. I could use a little time stretching meditation myself.

Thanks Char for the very kind words and for another listen.

Charlie
