The Beat of the Cosmos

 Genre: Ambient

The beat, when apparent, is not constant. It is more the beginning of the beat (of the Cosmos) when the Zen of Zero stepped out from itself, to manifest the Multiverse that we know. The Path is the Return Path to that One Beat. The Beat of Aeons. Times Past, Present and to come.

Existance is not sorrow, it is the Path of Return, back to the Source. Away from the Yearning and towards Certainty.

All thoughts are precious. Share yours as I've shared mine.

Beat of the Cosmos
you just shine in this type of genre - it is somehow so organic, the way this is put together. i feel transported by your thoughtful musicianship!

Hi Karen......
Thank you for your kind words. I try to complete a MIDI track of the notes, that way the music side is done, then the arrangement of the sounds comes next. This allows the original music to grow along as the sounds fade in or fade out. The overall effect, I think, is your 'organic' picture. I sometimes arrange many versions using the same MIDI track and all sound different due to the dynamics of the sound sources. There's organic diversity for you, in sound.

For someone who appreciates Haydn to like this mix gives me hope!1

Take care.

This is so awesome, I can close my eyes and imagine floating amongst the stars. Just trippy, very cool!

Hi Dani.....
If you were transported somewhere in your imagination, my job has been done. If it was trippy too, that is a bonus for me.

Among the stars is where I tend to be. Dad says my head is somewhere a lot closer to earth!!

I've just listened to 'Girl on Fire' and it's awesome.

Take care.

The music is great. Another excellent piece of space music. And I "get" it. I have no idea what you mean in your description. I know you don't want to write a book in a MJ response, but, if it's at all possible, could you explain the Zen of Zero. I didn't find anything useful from Google in the 5 minutes I spent looking. It seems to be related to the Tao of Physics or some conjunction of Eastern mysticism and modern physics. Anyway, I enjoyed listening very much, and thanks for the DL.

Hi Duane......
I would have been cut up if you had found something...The Zen of Zero is 'mine'. I'm working on the details, so it's just a few thoughts and concepts that I'm mulling around with. When the groundwork is finished you'll be the first to know.

I've used Zebra 2 on this mix. I haven't been using Z2 for a while, so this mix has brought my music around, into the wind again. Hopefully I'll be finished with my tacking for a little while now.

Take care.

This music
Expanding, drifting, coalescing,

Unthinkably vast, dark, lights, whipsy, filmy, fiery, blazing.

Cheers Paul,

Hi Doug......
There's a lot going on in this piece. All the colours of the musical rainbow, and some. It's just a phase I'm being pulled through, so I'm going with the flow.

Take care.

Thank you!
This is the kind of music I like. And it has a length that makes you want to listen again. Great sound which really send you out there. Has just finished reading Garden of Rama by Clarke and Lee and this would fit in nicely as a soundtrack here and there in the movie...

Take care,

Hi Henke.....
I've read the Rama novels too. Very good SciFi. Thank you for thinking of my music whilst remembering Rama. It's a very nice thought.

Some of these pieces are a little long. This sounded OK to me at this length so I left it just so.

Take care.
