Very Pretty
I wish I knew how to play the piano. This is such a lovely tune, perfect to unwind to.

Great classical pops sound
This was beautiful--it's the kind of piece I would play for people who may not be overly fond of classical music, but is sure to no doubt win them over an introduction to the field. You did a very fine job on this Volker--as a pianist myself, I salute you! Michael

Your comment is encouraging!
To get such an encouraging comment from a high talented pianist is a great honor for me, because I'm a layman and autodidact with my keyboard play...

Awaiting Reunion - Piano Ballad
The melodies are lovely. I like when you drop down to a lower register briefly at 2:01. I like the new chord changes at 2:01. Nice rise in dynamics at 3:50.

If I had one crit (to use paddler's word) I would lose the bass and the drums. They (in my humble opinion) are like the cage that won't allow the animal to run free. They regiment the time in places where you may want to play with the tempo to create different moods and emotions.

Lost the bass and the drums...
Thanks for your fair-minded comment, and you are right with your "crit". During improvisation it happens sometimes that the synchronization with the given rhythm is partly not in line. If I start a new improvisation I lose the melody from the first one. An improvisation is never perfect but always authentic and inventive. Don't see it as an excuse.

I am a plinker,
But I can appreciate when there is technique behind the improvisation. Very nice, and it inspires me to go back to the keyboard.

Keyboard playing is easier than piano...
Thanks for your nice comment.
