Driving From The Lake Feeling Good

Get Flash to see this player.

Description
There are these subtle moments that I really feel happy driving from the Lake (Lake Lagunitas, Marin County, Ca. I guess it is because I have exercised for so long there that sometimes I guess those endorphins really do seem to kick in with all the walking and running :) Though I have to admit I hit a rock with my shoe and almost fell down running down the road to the parking lot.
I must of looked pretty goofy running off the side of the road in front of some people coming up :)
But it was still enjoyment !

Awesome
Whew, you're lucky you didn't take a nose-dive into the ground, ye-ouch! This was so nice to listen to. Wonderful playing!

wow
I think you got what I was trying to say down to a T. I really almost didn't make it. I shouldn't had my sun glasses on when I was jogging, I probably would of looked closer at the pebble - rocks etc.

Thanks for stopping by !

You definitely...
...have one very captive ear here every time I listen to you perform Bill. This piece has a very wonderful feeling of discovery in it--I hear a little playful voice saying "follow me" throughout this. Again you have a way of imbuing a sense of personality in your playing and composing that to me is the hallmark of a real artist. Thanks again--this is what great music is all about!

Driving From The Lake Feeling Good
Nice! I like the little harmonic intro and interludes. I like the bluesy bridge. Very Mississippi John Hurt in character.

I tried to
make a comment in the description in regards to the going off the road. Thought that the harmonics on the tune were a bit wacky. I felt a bit wacky going off the road when i hit a small rock with my shoe:)

AS ALWAYS
a joy to listen to. Thanks for the background story, it added a little something. One more thing, Bill, as a musician it's normal to have your head in the clouds - but not when you can plunge off the roadside. :-))

Heehee
Can we have the video of you running downhill after that? Seriously, this is a joyful, peppy tune and perfect to listen to on a brisk walk. Makes me want to buy an iPod.
I love the whimsical ending, too.
