Description
I thought about sitting down to write something thoughtful and poignant then I thought nah sod it I’ll just have an evening messing around with loops and samples!! It’s not really music but it was fun for an hour or two. You can play spot the voice clip. Enjoy.

Flashback
God this should be called flashback. I remenber all these sound bites. Good job with a very simple idea. Was that Tom Baker as Dr Who?

Cool
Why not call this music?, to me all kinda noise put together can be music even if it is odd. Nicely done, and I enjoyed too.

Ah phooey
I did not recognize the sound bytes (but then I'm about 30 years behind the times)...this was very neat--well constructed and good fun. Can't get that female humming out of my head now--thanks!

I think I
have to relisten to this on head phones to acquire some of what is being said but it seems like great fun....there's even a voice that sounds like Bluebottle.....and that cannot be right....oh yes just got Marvin....okay, going in again !!

Great...
...now I have to rent "Dr. Who"...another thing to focus on.

;)

I love sounds like this. Never saw "Dr. Who"...but this is very cool. I LOVE that filthy guitar followed by the acoustic.

Wounds come apart again laughing!
Brings back memories of school, especially the paranoid android and the speech defects! Something in the humour that is gleefully schoolboyish, too? You've got two halves of coconuts and you're banging them together!

Woah!
I used to do this kinda thing on my old Amiga using tracker software. Takes me back to my first attempts at music. Tom Baker's voice is perfect for these kind of experiments. I like this a lot, especially that dirty guitar riff. Bravo.

whoa mark...what an interesting departure. is the first voice tom baker as dr who? this is a cool track. have you been downloading stuff from the bbc sound archive. i don't know who the indian voice was....it wasn't apu from the simpsons. i love the guitar stuff you put on this. and....how about a voice clip of your own saying 'the fox slips under the wheel'?

Fun and refreshing
Fun stuff! Sometimes it is simply invigorating to take a break from main projects and work in a completely different direction. This is refreshment straight up - delicious.

There are a number of folks here at macjams that work in this style of mixing vocal clips into a soundtrack, but I don't think there is a set genre for it. The first time I remember hearing something like this was (I think) "Medicene Show" by Big Audio Dynamite some time back in the mid-Eighties.

Now - back to our regularly scheduled program.
