Description
There's a lot going on in this tune. Too much? Not for a matrioshka brain.

Most of the beats and squishy bleeps were exported from my iPad. The remaining loops and sounds are from Zero-G and Bass On Demand.

For the past two weeks I've been recording Asian language voices for work. It didn't occur to me until recently that it might have had an influence on this mix, LOL.

Grooves galore...
I really liked the voices they carry the piece and tie it together. This has a bunch of sweet moments. Fav'd and Dl'd

a real russian nesting doll, there's layers within layers of sound here :-) sounds like you had a blast building beats. The vocal parts
embrace the beat..too cool David.

Oh yes, I had a blast building beats. It's quite addictive, actually. And you are so right about the nesting dolls; most of this is made from some simple beats, but played at different tempos and with different sounds, layered like a fractal.

David!
this is much more accessible (for me at least) than the last post of yours - I've just never understood the Beastie Boys (a bit like I don't get Springsteen either).
This is zappy-cool - I keep expecting to hear Tim (EgoBandit) pop in here somewhere.
Great to see you back posting agan.
Best wishes from Oz,
Neil

Thanks, Neil, I'm glad you think this is cool. I don't really understand the Beastie Boys either, I just enjoy mixing them :)

Wow PV - This is about the very best thing I've heard from you!

Great stuff happening, especially your treatment of all the vocal parts. You were one of my very first macjams favorites (almost 5 years ago) and your music still blows my mind when it pops up on the iPod.

This is really amazing. I'm downloading it right now!

Thanks Dave!

It's really great to hear that you still enjoy my tunes! I'm glad you like this one so much. Working with the electronic blippiness is a lot of fun, and I love adding voices that sound cool but don't have any meaning that I can understand. Thank you for keeping PV tunes alive!
