Description
So, we were a little stuck on this one.I sent jd some songs but they didn´t fit in his vocal style...So he sent me a vocal track of some hard rok collab he did with someone else and I wanted to keep the hard rock vein, but through my chemically distorted lens... here it is.

HOpe you guys like it.

Thanks, jd , for your patience and support!

The intro is wild! Love it! Love the echoing vocal. James is another truly distinct vocalist here. This has an incredible edge to it.

Intense
Sounds like pure psychedelic. A very intense piece, I like the effects and James' vocals great here. Very interesting approach, I like it.

I'm astounded at what
goes on here and you talk about 2 entirely different ends of the spectrum, wow, I would never imagine in a million years something like this, what a concept and what a cool thing you did here with that vocal track, Glad you stayed with it and posted it Carlos, be well friend.

Now I am curious
This is a very unique take. It does have that psychedelic feeling to it. I am flashing back to 69' especially the guitar work. My curiosity is piqued to hear the original backing tracks to JD's vocal too.

This is a far cry from "Danny Boy", JD.....but I stuck with it, and it grew on me! lol Very ..ummm.. artistic? Great idea from both of you.

Wow!
I sure wasn't expecting that! I have to agree with Smokey....has an art rock feel, but it also draws you in. Good mix and the guitars remind me of Hendrix.

Cool tune fellas.

Alright - just when I thought the summer song
concept had been stretched to it's limit and then some along comes this killer track. What a great menacing bit of madness you guys have come up with. I like the chain gang feeling of the ending.

Very Trippy
Slightly different than the last version of Hard Life, lol! A totally new side of James on this one. Very cool stuff. Great range in this song with super cool effects. I think this is the vocal from that other song isnt it? Sounds really trippy how your vocal floats in and out of the instrumentation. Great tune guys, this is creative stuff.

Amazing track, fellas
This clearly involved the stuff of art: naked faith and long work hours. Less 'chemical' than most of Carlos's offerings, and more experimental than anything I've heard by JD, this is very satisfying in the best of unexpected ways. I'm very glad this is here, and I salute you both!

Walking the edge
Love it. Pink Floyd, meets the Police, meets 2001 Space Odyssey, meets Faith No More, meets Sun Ra, meets Porno For Pyro. What a mind trip. You are really searching and discovering all kinds of tasty dark matter treats, in which case, this would actually be a winter song then ;P

Strange
but very well done. Talk about stretching out, jd is really out there, but the the song is like and acid trip so that would explain it.

Very cool

I want to thank everyone
for listening and commenting, in all honesty Carlos did all of the work here I sent him this vocal track that was rejected by another artist who got a better more ACDC vocal he liked better so I was stuck with this looking for a backer and Carlos the genius came up with this , like I said before pretty amazing what can happen on these 2ferSummers.

experiential experimentation in-sanity
This has psychedelic bite and a strange appeal... for some reason, I imagine the homeless guy, unable to recover from past drugs that scrambled his brain, now traveling the twisted alleys of hot summer downtown, wondering if he'll ever escape the demons that tear at him at every turn now, unable to see reality any more, and lost in the consequences of his past mistakes. Shudder... this was very thought provoking, well done!

What a trip
All that processing is very cool. That ultra-tight snare/field drum somehow reminded me of Brazilian percussion. Definitely a different (and cool) view of summer intensity.

Psyched in the deli
Quite a blend of the rocker vocals with the psycho-jelly music that takes the listener in and out of a mesmerizing set of sonic scenes.

Cool stuff.
