music for insomniac narcoleptics (disco mix)

Get Flash to see this player.

Description
What do you get if you take Mungo's 'Dark Shimmering' and 'Motherless Child' tracks, add 5 theremins, a music box sent by Mystified but sonically mangled to resemble something else and some subtle delay effects.

You get this music - which is 13.5 minutes of pure pleasure and perfect for the discerning insomniac narcoleptic

I did try to follow feenix's advice and take this music to hell, but I had difficulty getting outside the borders of Scottsdale AZ (but that is close enough to hell to get a similar effect)

Vocals - Mungo
Guitar and effects - Mungo
Theremins - particle
Digital Delays - winston smith

thank you cat for the music box sounds

Experimental
Yes, but easy on the ears to, there is a pattern and a gentle vibe wafting threw the piece, I found this to be unique and thoughtful I enjoyed it a lot so much so I am keeping a copy..Thxs

Not Sure...
Not sure what it says about me, but I found this more heavenly than hellacious, there's a lot of sound that evokes rising and lifting to me. It does have some darkness to it, but having being raised a Catholic, that doesn't necessarily rule out this being heavenly, either.

This is really beautiful and inspired, Brynn. You are the perfect person for Cat to have sent a sonically mangled music box.

Dream baby dream
great piece Bryn - I love the slow swelling and breathing quality throughout. Mungo's vocal is really haunting. Very cool.

OK, so I'm only half way through
but if I wait to write a comment until it finishes I'll probably be asleep. Very nice piece of music Bryn - definitely soothing/calming. Most enjoyable (in a horizontal kind of way).
:)

Like meditating
It reminds me of being in the woods, at night, just sitting by the edge of a swamp. Lit only by the crescent moon. And letting the magnetic field of the Earth ring out cosmic music. I think I see a frog, also meditating. This is very cool, thanks.

Close enough
to hell. It's certainly mind altering. Which is why music is made btw. I have an idea for an experiment: loop this track in the ISS for one week and see what happens.

Genre Info
Experimental music is any music that challenges the commonly accepted notions of what music is. There is an overlap with avant-garde music. John Cage was a pioneer in experimental music and defined and gave credibility to the form. As with other edge
