Wake Me Gently

Description
I've been looking for an alarm clock that has RED digits because the green ones cast too much light and they bother me. And then I thought an iPod clock radio would be great, too (but see above). Then I found a little plug-in called "dream piano" and, well, here's the result. I don't know if this has any practical use. Maybe it's only "elevator music." And maybe it'll just make you fall asleep again (which might not be such a bad thing. (On the other hand, so-to-speak, maybe it would work well at your next massage.)

Yes,
I can imagine this music rousing me out of a nice dream. I wouldn't even get stressed out about what the day was bringing. The slow build is great. Where did you find that 'Dream Piano' plug-in? I like the ambiance.

Sleep
This would put me back to sleep, lullaby style. But then I would be having nice, floating through the sky dreams. Very cool.

Coincidence?
Thanks for the shopping tip, Paul. In your last post (Awakening) I commented that I was going to modify my alarm clock to wake me with that tune. And then you come up with this. Got them both. Now I gotta find this clock. Really nice music here Paul. Thanks for the post. T

Wake Me Gently
Just yesterday we bought an ipod alarm clock for one of my sons, and I commented how much I would like one. My wife asked "but what would you play to wake up to?" Aha! now I have the perfect response :-) Off to investigate dream piano

Works for me Paul
let me sleep, get a massage, or wake to the music, it's all good. I can see why they call it dream piano. It does have a very ethereal feeling to it.
Of course the playing you did might just have something to do with that dream quality. Ya think !

Great piece as always my friend and so artfully played.

Ahhh
It's aaalmost bedtime, can I go catch some Zs, please? Couldn't think of better music to precede some good and restful sleep. Probably for waking up on a Sunday morning too... But for now - good night...

If you're available
I really need a neck massage and this would be splendid music to listen to.

Very nicely done Paul.

Lovely
I've had insomnia since I was 19, but this sounds like something that might guide me into Dreamland. What a beautiful tune!

wake me gently
wow...that really is the dreamiest piano i have ever heard. it's not soporific though....more like a hot bath with oil....or having your skin gently stroked by a thousand nymphs...yeah everywhere.

So relaxing
and meditative Paul.... love the synth backing to the piano.... so soft and dreamy; like being stroked with a feather boa or a velvet glove, regards M

This certainly is NOT
elevator music! :D But neither is it 'wake up' music unless one is being kissed awake by a loved one ... That being said, this would also work as an 'underscore' in a motion pictures love scene where the hero & heroine kiss for the first time or the scene where they say 'goodbye' ... In any event ... quietly and subtly beautiful1 :)

What can I say?
Sublimely beautiful, in conception and execution. You took it WAY beyond elevator: it is uplifting. It's also, curiously, energizing - refreshing, I guess. A gift: thank you.

Tony Banks in Dreamland?
Belated smooth-sound kudos: This might keep me in bed longer in the morning, then again it's so peaceful, it might be a pleasant way to rise. Coming from a 52 year-old teenager perspective, I have to tell you that this almost reminds me of the last Genesis album I would allow myself to buy, Wind and Wuthering, in which Tony Banks did some beautiful work on the synth ivories. (And yes, I am a numbskull for putting Genesis into this comment!)
