Five Forty-Five

Description
With just a little encouragement from my previous post, I have embarked on a small series of peaceful offerings. Here is another one that I hope will be soothing and restful. And if it puts you to sleep, I will be grateful that it has had such a calming effect. (Scored for piano, strings, 3 French horns, bass flute...oh, and some twinkling stars at the very end.)

Paul
such a peaceful and soothing track. Really love the sound of the French Horns here and of course your piano is a beauty. The transition at about 1:58 is really effective. Well done Mr. Magic. Downloaded (of course).

Peaceful
Peaceful, for sure. Is this how you feel at 5:45? AM or PM? In the early evening,, I'm usually running around the kitchen finishing up cooking something in manic mode. At 5:45 AM, I'm either asleep (hopefully) or waking up early and kind of nauseous. So, by your peaceful time frame, you are surely a better man than I!

Sounds like that cat looks
This is a great, gentle piece of music. It would be perfect for watching the sun rise at a lake. And man, that's a cute kitten. Nice playing!

i want that kitten!
Very serene. I think I would have liked the instruments to be panned a little differently, spread out more, but your orchestration is warm and supportive. Your compositional dexterity amazes me - that you can effortlessly (or so it seems) go from your CD of incredible etudinal gymnastics to this calming, melodic lullaby.
