Description
I posted a previous version of this song about a year ago and got some really helpful comments which have led to this latest version - you may notice that the synthesised trumpet sound has been replaced by a real one!!

Lyrics
Prada Heels

I hear your Prada heels tapping
In the Gallery Angelo
As you move among the figures
In a slow flamenco
Then pausing in the doorway
As if unsure which way to go
‘til your reflection in the window
Becomes Chanel; adagio

And In Paris every artist
Would be drawn to you
From Milan to Manhattan
They fall at your feet and follow you

On the Boulevard Saint-Germain
In Les Duex Magots Café
I hear you order Ricard
And Spanish Sketches play
I watch you with the waiter
As flirtatiously you pay
Exchanging glances, coins and paper
I leave no tip and walk away

And In Paris every artist…

In the silence as I leave you
Still wrapped in morning sheets
Every door behind me closes
Every shuttered window speaks
But then, something familiar
Heels tapping in the street
Could that cut be Valentino?
Could she really be that chic?

And In Paris every artist…

Classic
Love the feel of this one. Reminiscent of past master arrangements to that of Leonard Cohen, Gordon Lightfoot, Tom Rush........ you got that kind of magic. Nice words...Nice work....Classic.

Great Lyrics
They paint such a full picture. Always been drawn to lyrics, sometimes before a melody. These are great. That said the music is subtle and beautiful as well. A lovely song to be proud of. Cheers mark
