Description
This is a song we wrote a while ago for an Ice Cream shop in Hilton Head Island. We did an acoustic set including this song over the summer and I forgot that I never uploaded it. Originally, my buddy was just strumming guitar while I made up stupid lyrics off the top of my head at the beach. We posted it on youtube and they got ahold of us and asked if we'd make a theme song. We got free t-shirts and ice-cream :).

If...
If this song had been out in 1976-77, it could very well have become the punk rock hit of that year, obviously with everybody trying to figure out the true metaphor of "Ice Cream" in this case. I like this, not deep as you've already described how the song came about, but the melody, arrangement and attitude is brilliant. /Mikki

cool
Dig the unpolished straight-in-da-face approach and the edgy sound .

Frozen Moo
I had to see what "Frozen Moo" was. Your explanation makes perfect sense of course. Tight playing and funny lyrics.

Hey Guys,
Didn't expect to get such a high amount of feedback, but thanks! Yea, we had a fun time doing this one. It was a blast and of course the ice cream shop loved it as well. Now that I have some recording equipment coming this week again expect some more tunes to be up on MJ. Happy to be back in action :)

Ice cream guitar licks
Clever concept (frozen "moo") and catchy melody.

Because I have a hard time hearing the lyrics (and because they are not posted where I can read them), about all I come away with is "Frozen moo - 92 flavors." Which makes it into a pretty good piece of advertising : )

However, I think it avoids becoming an advertisment jingle by being cast here as a punk rock song.

I would like to hear that bass line brought up ... and I think some gelato guitar riffs could emerge from the catchy melody to give it a little more variety - although it wouldn't need 92 variations to make it more interesting.

But I throw those ideas out as just a couple of possibilities if you ever decide to take it further. As it is, you've captured the flavor of summer - and that's a good thing.
