Description
I lost all my first 3 years worth of GB recordings in a disk crash. During the process of setting up the new iMac and assorted network stuff, I found the basic tracks for my song "i dont think he knows my name" So...I had some fun with it....dropped the vocal, played all new guitars. The bass is my nephew Ryan's Steinberger, which recorded so beautifully. I left the bass full strength to carry this arrangement, cuz ryan told me too. Miss you Ry and I love you so much.

about the crash; that's terrible, but what you did here sounds just fantastic in every way, so I'm pleased you managed to recuperate some of what you had. Great bass and guitar; love it, regards M

Oh Man
You do know how to treat those strings! Not too much blues for me either. At 4.07 I could have expected some more ;-) Thanks for sharing, I think I'll keep a copy too, just to be on the safe side...

Take care,
Henke

Fran, this is so good to hear. I just love the tone and emotion you get with Ruby. We really should do something together again soon. I'll get onto it ;)

I think this is the Ziti I love best. Which is the off the cuff improv master fleshing out a new/old groove. That bass does pop.

This is another one...
...that sounds good over the speakers and then reveals some hidden goodies over the headphones... The Steinberger tone is really round and full, really clear... The main lead line is strong, and then there are phantom guitars hiding out amidst those left-and-right percussion bits...

It's good hearing a ziti solo piece again...

Masterful, as always...
Your sound, your technique, your passion, your abandon...

You are quite a guitarist, sir. You have such a gift... How many people would give everything they have to be able to play like you do... Keep playing for the rest of us who can only dream of breaking down the distance between our hearts and our instruments - your "distance" is long gone...

Hot damn Fran!
Geez... I gotta write a good blues tune so I can beg... grovel even... and get you to play lead on it. Ha ha...

Excellent mix. Sounds gigantic and very live. Percussion track is full of that ol' black magic.

Bravo!

Be well friend!
