Description
Hey Macjammers! Glad to be here and go for my first upload. It's a classic from Maestro H. Hancock with a sort of R&B arrangement. Unfortunately I had to use virtual brass section, sax & flute soloist. On piano is me ;-)
Happy to play this tune with some soloist in here!
Thanks for listening

Enjoyed
Very much enjoyed all of this including the "virtual instruments".
I like virtual instrumentalists as they show up on time and have no bad habits!

Wow
Honoured about your comments. Yes, still have to change something in the brass section I guess. It sound to me too flat... and the wind solos sound too much virtual ;-) Maybe the best way to give a kick to this piece is to record some real instrument. Come on macjammers, who like to play?

Hey man cool stuff!
I had no idea this was in public domain, ah yea.
You did do a great job and all, great production and interesting solos, not MJ style at all!
The sustained chord voicin' in the right hand are expressive of a deep understanding of jazz. You got chops for days...

You are
a fine arranger. And an excellent pianist. Oh yes, I think there are plenty of Jammers that would love a to come out and play with you. Thanks.

This jazzes me.
Way cool. I think Mr. Hancock would be smiling to hear is classic piece produced here on macjams with grageband. Nice playing on the elephant. It is a shame that your not open to downloads as this will be the only time that I'll hear this one. Whereas it could go on my rotation and others could become aware of your talent. Most times I look to see, first, if the artist shares his work with others and then listen. What a waist of time when, time is running out.

I love jazz, it's my life. I'm playing jazz piano since long time. Many live performances and a considerable experience with many jazz artists on stage. Now I'm also trying to freeze my compositions with Mac's help, and this is great!... [see more]
