Sweet!
Love the chord changes man. Really mystical-chill. Great synths.

You always come through with beautifully composed music regardless of genre. I love the synth tones you chose here. They all blend so well with their own clear role in the arrangement and mix.

When I first came to MJ,
I had no idea of different genres. Lunatrick had several called downtempo. He even placed such a track around my very first acapella here. Now, I just love this kind of thing. This is bright and makes me think of what it might be like to be in someone's arms while gazing out over a starlit sea and just being lost in reverie. Lovely piece. Thanks.

rich electronic washes
Nice build in the intro to a cool bass-propelled schooner on the midnight electric. Nice nice work here. Has a bit of happy electronica-smugness, bathed in sparkling beauty.

I was lost,
right up until the Bass and drums came in. Then I found what I was looking for in this piece Victor.

Love your easy laid back rhythm, and the fulness and flow to the flutes and synth parts.

Very beautifully done my friend.

Love it

Well okay then
you are a man of many parts ...this is like a slow hip hop backing at the start and then flows seamlessly into a melodious leading theme.Mucho enjoyed.

reflective
you caught me at guard with some of your changes -- I like that you're always pushing the envelope a little bit in every song, and this is no exception. With the kind of synth in this song, it's so easy to let it get away into the realm of 'this sounds like a video game.' You escaped that quite deftly. Nice!

What were
you thinking of when you wrote this Victor or was it spontaneous? Lovely sound here. Love the turn arounds on the melody and chord changes. A download for sure. Thanks.

nothing
wrong with saying it sounds like a video game. seems that a valid genre. quite enjoyed it, mate. not too sure about some of those sounds but it flowed well. did you use loops or did you program the beats?

Handcrafted
Everything programmed by hand. I use Ultrabeat for programming the rhythm.

Great clear sound
Appreciate the production here. Sets cool, but kind of somber, vibe at times. Tones sound really nice again.

luscious
Very smooth - like the organ sounding synth. Very difficult to get that tone to not sound cheesy, but you've managed to do that here. Nice bass too.

I sure like
that ' airy rise' at 0:13. Loveliness. And you get a very full sound here that I didn't really appreciate until it dropped away around 3:51.
Smart stuff.

Good ears
That rise is a great preset of the ACE synth. It's a pad that, if you open the mod wheel, goes up by an octave, and throws open the filter. It's used a couple of times for dramatic effect. I could never program something like that, so I was happen to have found it.

Thanks for commenting.

Another twist
I never know what to expect and you deliver something different yet again. A nice cross between new age/ambient/retro synth lounge.

Keep 'em coming Vic!

Cheers

The rising 5 notes...
...reminds me of the theme from Swan Lake!

LOL.

Very artful manifestation of the downtempo genre, Vic!
