Musicianship is a generous attribute
I mostly try to do less harm.

Boomerang Loop Station
There are moments when I hear a dark Bauhaus/Tones on Tail eerieness that I like.

Is this a late submission to the Halloween Spooktacular?

Another cool track from A7

We'll take Bauhaus
it's funny - every time we cover Eno's Third Uncle someone cmes up and says how cool it was that we did that Bauhaus song.

talk about
an open room, wow what dynamics , must have been lighting that place up! beautiful fellas! some parts sound like a piano drum , its like looking at the sky from under the waterLIke when the guitar gets all chorus sounding, its like coming together but not seeing anyone !

can't think of anyone
... who has produced a song at 12 bpm (approx)

the cool thing is the time in space to move in and out, through and under

it's at the half way point that it all really comes together in a nice package

We're trying to figure out how to get to the middle
a little faster - but not too fast. Problem is - we don't know what's at the middle or where it is when we start. I agree though - 4:30 on for a minute or so is where it's at. Thanks for stopping by.

Bud
I'm liking the music as much as your comments. Don't ask me if that's good or bad.
That bass accident @ 6:20 sounds threatening.
Cool pict (too): Hoja debajo de Orion.

I'd like to think that there's a little
something for everyone here. If the music doesn't cut it perhaps the comments will distract enough to create the ambience we were surprised to find. It's not always music - sometimes it's archeology and at others it's about writing history.

There's something to be said for just playing in the moment and taking whatever comes. This piece is great for meditation or just relaxing.

This is was what happened
in the second hour of jamming. We didn't play a single rehearsed song that night. I'm always happy to come away with something mellow along with the sturm und drang.

Ha ha...
Man I dig this stuff... When I was young I loved to trip out to album sides worth of this sort of thing! Wonderful sonic textures...

Be well friend!

PS: I was gonna buy one of those boomerang loop stations once. But I hear they're impossible to get rid of!!! ;)

Let me guess
Ummagumma? Remember Lothar and the Hand People - and Pearls Before Swine?
A friend gave me his boomerang and I have to keep it locked up at night.
Thanks for the kind words.

Good call on Ummagumma Kevin!
Also reminds me a tad of the Grateful Dead's "What's Become Of The Baby?"

Delicious
Just what my ears were in the mood for. I think everyone in the world should just get a big condenser mic and stick it in the middle of the room and start playing.

this is beautiful
beautiful. love the sound to this. if i was on the east coast you would have another member; that loop is so cool almost sounds like a piano. that settles it, I'm moving to Brooklyn and playing keyboards for A7.

Ummm
I think it is a piano. After the guitar loop is established the tinling thing I mixed in is a bit of a buddha box loop which sounds like a distressed upper reach piano with some organic trash noise on top. Then a little later I add in some slappy delay guitar.
Come on over to the County of Kings - you'd be a welcome addition.

This is shit..

...hot !!!

To think about actually capturing this is impressive. With this nearly 8 minutes of 'Hendrix-In-A-Coma' sound, you guys have actually created a new genre of music, namely 'hypnotrash'. I want more!

A bold upload, Bud. Bold.
