Description
A piece inspired by Thomas Dolby and Gary Numan using all my old analog synths and modules, sort of a retro tribute to those great analog sounds of the 80's....
(and yes I have to much time on my hands LOL)

As I listen and write
my laptop is sitting in front of my old Sequential Circuits Pro-One. This is very tempting. I love what you've done here - what were using?

Made in your car?
I recognize that sound! It's glorious. So you actually still have all that stuff? I never owned anything but a Roland D10, a sample-based multi-timbral synth. And then I went software.

Cool tune, btw. Very much in the spirit of your heros.

Nice
The instruments may be from the 80's but this sounds very modern! I guess synths never go out of style. I'm getting a little more into electronic music, and this was very cool. Enjoyed the listen!

A Treat For The Ears
Got me right from the opening notes. Just a real pleasure to hear this kind of sound. Blips and Blops...who cares? When they all fit together as tightly as you've done in this mix, it just makes for an enjoyable sonic experience. Nice going.

Those old synths
can be so warm and at the same time so cuttingly cold it is an amazing contrast. A real tour of some period sounds that certainly have been date stamped in so many ways. Isn't it funny how we can label a sound, a tone to a specific era? I find that so amazing.. cool song.

I bet
Right now you will be doing some of your greatest and most creative work Dave.....take advantage of that! Yes, this really set me back in time (the 80s were "my" decade so I really loved this!) Thanks for the science! Michael
