I love your voice. Very cool. I don't know why but parts of the vocals bring to mind Al Green, call me crazy! I love it.

thanks...i'm confused because i was just listening to your song...and liking it, and then you commented on ours before i commented on yours. how did that happen? was it really just coincidence? we're such rookies at this stuff. anyways. you have a pretty voice, if that makes any sense. now i'm going to listen to al green. we're white though, but thanks again.

I like these drums. Vocals are nice. A bit of Pink Floyd's "The Wall" in there.

this is really cool! your voice has a unique quality - kind of raw and very genuine sounding. i like it when the band then comes in, the low vocals very effective. i don't think i've heard any of your stuff up until now - glad i caught this! much enjoyed - thanks!

wow!
the soulful singing is terrific and memorable, sorrowful and pleading...
I like this, I want to keep listening and find out what's going to happen... there's a tension and then the chorus comes and it's got that hook of the I don't know what that instrument is or what it's doing but it's mind blowing! I love it!!!

man
i really like this. the vocals and guitar/drums are great. the piano is a perfect addition at the end too. I like the middle part, but if i were to offer some constructive criticism I would maybe bring down the rhythmic synth line down just a hair and pan the backup vocals a bit so they're not all sitting in the same space. i love this track though, fits in well with the Dangermouse/Gnarls Barkley school of thought.

thanks
your comments are very insulting...totally kidding...you're probably dead on. especially on the panning of the backup vocals. it's something that was rushed and not really thought out well. the middle part was louder originally, and maybe needs to go down a hair again. i'll look into it for sure. thanks for the comment.

Distinctive vocals
are a highlight. Spaced out vibe and middle build up give the some a unique character. Liked it! Regards, Peter.

Interesting
Your voice sounds very familiar, are you on another music site? This is very cool, kinda chaotic, so it's no wonder why dig it. Great stuff!

interesting
Familiar? Not sure. We were on different sites, but I sure can't find them anymore. I find it freaky that I was listening to your last song twice the night before you commented on this song. I love your song forgive me. Where are you from Raven? Beautiful song/ girl/ voice.

hey bud
just a follow up. love both the remakes. it's pretty incredible that anyone wanted to do a remake. it's more incredible that it was two people that are so established in macjams. thanks for doing it. i can't explain the feeling of hearing another interpretation of your own song. it's pretty unreal. thanks again.

Track has a live feel. Understated drums propel things along nicely. Guitar arpeggios punctuated with slides work well. Plaintive vocals reflect a somber mood.

The original - tell the A&R weenies to throw some money at you..
Len said this is brilliant and he's right. it'd have more chance of getting picked-up by a label than 99.9% of the stuff most of us make that's "produced." you've got something to say here. Can't make-out all the lyrics but damn, this is insane goodstuff.

thanks
thanks so much. we hesitated to put this song on, as we do many, but we're realizing people on this site are very understanding when it comes to inadequacies. we'd love to do stuff that is "produced", but we're realistic. we work with what we have and have fun. thanks again. we'll be checking out your songs for sure.
