A Ray of Sunshine (on a Cloudy Day)

Description
This mix started out as an experiment with a new free percussion plugin. The rest seemed to come together over a couple of hours today.

The title is what came to mind as I put the mix together, nothing else.

The mix is around nine minutes thirty in length but the percussion develops ever so slowly. Hopefully nothing leaps out of the mix too much. I did try.

Your thoughts would be welcome.

Ray of Sunshine
Hi Paul - well isn't this cool!! it's long, but because of elements like the slowly building percussion, it's very very engaging. great job!

Ominous is right
Some title. A nice variation to have the rhythm track running throughout. Fantastic mix of highs and lows. Definitely fixes my attention. Couple of hours? Wow, sir.

Congratulations Paul!
It's great to hear some new work from you. I'm sitting here on a cloudy day, waiting for the promised ray: ahhh, I think I hear it now, breaking through the cloud layer, and warming the landscape for a moment, before it's gone.

A Ray of Sunshine
Strange massive clouds penetrated by an unknown ray of sun. Dramatic stuff mastered by your powerful instruments.
