What a great space
you have created here with this

i want to shove my head in the speaker cone and be one with it

so...are your friends elements the softer/floatier stuff and your interjections the harder more razor-like stuff?

My friend's elements...
Are a particularly defining layer of the opening line, with some of my own fx and synth doodles over it. It set the mood for the rest of the piece, and I also had a lot of input from him in selecting sounds throughout.

And just when I was thinking
"that's a quiet track!" around 2:00 it all burst loose. Well, I've heard more aggressive stuff from you, but at least that second part is recognizable as your style of DnB.

The melodic stuff is cool. An extra layer of interest.
