The Lighter Side of Intelligent Machines

Description
A pretty mainstream dubstep tune. I made the bassline by compounding kick slices until they made a buzz tone, it seems to have worked well. It made room for a lot of tricky play, so I had a lot of fun on this one, despite it ending up rather poppy.

No experimentation . . .
. . . no learning. Trying new stuff is the only way to get beyond. I love the buzzy bass line. Its VERY different and almost sounds like a very low freq lead synth, which I guess is exactly what a set of square or saw waves would sound like. Cool.

groove box?
I think you asked if I used a groove box on another tune of mine. I still don't know what a groove box is.

Machines at work?
Waiting for break time so they can cut loose and get jiggy with it? There is some pretty stuff that sounds like a harp mixed in there with everything else. Neat. Thank you.

fantastic creation. cool beat...love the vocal distortions and the occasional ethereal chords that come in to maintain the sense of melody going forward.
