A Short Winter Song

Description
Here is, to me, a strange little piece using two synths, two drum tracks, and orchestral crotales. It is strange for some obvious and some not-so-obvious reasons. It is both a short winter song and a song for a short winter.

Jangly tinkling
as if there are wind chimes made of glass or ice and echoey organ as if its keys were played in an ice cavern. All you need is a Yeti bellowing in some strange language, "Loda, get me a beer out of the ice drift!" It sure does sound wintry and would work for skating on thin ice. A bit ominous. If it is a shaman's song, I hope it casts a spell for a short winter. :)

nice!
Crazy drum groove, and the synths really capture a cool feel.

A Short Winter Song
I'm with Char. I like the ice cave vibe and the wind chimes on a cold winter's day.

It has
a classical music feel to it before the drums set in and change the tone to a contemporary electro tune....clever, a schizophrenic short tune.....with attitude ! Nice.

Chill Water Dynamic
Evidently not a still, death-like winter scene this, but a sort of fierce, underwater, ice-floe dynamism, the flicking of an orca's tail, a seal's vigorous thrashing away into a stream of pinched bubbles, the dark shadow of pack ice, rough to the touch and full of hidden menace, and yet a certain majestic quality overall too.

Enjoyed it. Very evocative.

I imagine it....
...as the music made by the pots & pans wagon as it trails off down the bumpy dirt road - much like the one I'm on now.
