This is the track three from the huge Fiasco "Daylight or Something Similar", which I tried to release commercially last year. Now It is availble as radiohead-like pay what you want. But with a little catch...
It took me kind of a month to write (job always gets in the way) and I was also making a collaboration with Mckenzie at the time but he didn´t seem to like it.
I think The accoustic guitar and the trumpet sound kind of decent.Obviously inspired by Miles´Wailing Trumpet on Bitches Brew.

Didn´t listen to anyone except for Talk Talk, Scott Walker and Miles Davis at the time I was recording the album...I love them but they cast a gigantic shadow that definately smashed me.

You know I started listening to this and went to do something else. When it ended I wondered why my itunes hadn't gone to the next track. I thought I was listening to my Jazz genius mix. Wow. Well done.

dont let
the shadow crush you, you got it going in this like the rich fullness you get in this, between the guitars and hor and the bass that walk me through it, Miles was a strong influence on me! That snare that comes in about 3:23 takes it to another level it seems that it all you needed was a louder snare, but beneath it is that of colour guitar, This just might be my favorite YRP song!

Cool atmosphere. I like the bass line and acoustic guitar. Harmonically twisted and interesting.
