Lyrics
Somehow I knew that it was over
Somehow I knew that we were done
Somehow I knew that I would forget about you
Pick up the pieces and move on

The other night I saw you in your window
What were you doing up so late
--------------------------------
I'm not obsessed with you
I've got lots of better things to do
I'm not waiting round to hear from you
I won't come back.. unless you want me too
--------------------------------
Do you want to see a movie
Do you want to go for tea
Do you want to talk about something else
Did you get the messages from me

It's not true that I was too controlling
I let you dress the way I like
--------------------------------
I'm not obsessed with you
I've got lots of better things to do
I won't be coming back to you
I won't come back.. unless you want me too
--------------------------------
I hope you don't mind me phoning
I only get one call you see
I'm sure it wasn't you who called the boys in blue (police)
Can I come and see you when I'm free

It's not true that I was too possessive
Those friends you had they just weren't right for you

That solid groove and simple piano figure grabbed me. I like the late 70s/early 80s pop R&B sound of the chorus (Hall & Oats, Ambrosia). Very nice production and mix. Downloaded!

Excellent
sound and content. Somehow, this guy couldn't be a stalker but maybe he was just a little too devoted. Thanks.

ah man
GREAT tune! SOOO slick. great 70's vibe, really well done, reminds me a bit of josh rouse's '1972' stuff, huge compliment imo. I just remarked on egobandit that it was a good day for MJ free music, and man the hits keep coming. Terrific tune.

Nice!
Great track. Simple and catchy. Love the throwback sound. The ending guitar riff reminded me of The Eagles' "I can't tell you why."
