Vic goes downtempo!
And in a very cool way, this is totally infectious, really sucks you in, I can hear Peter Gabriel singing to this! Nice!

Speak softly...
Now that's a fun listen. A lot of interesting old-school analog tones. Great interplay between the various synth sounds. I also like the key change at around 1:50.

Old school
and beyond. This entire track is done with Plogue Chipsounds, which emulates the sound chips of the Commodore C64 and other primitive sound sources.

Have to have the right head,
to wear a big hat.

Not me! If i had one, i'd take it off to you. Different (from what i've heard) and cleverly interwoven.

This is
very nice Vic. I could see Mummenschanz perform to this as it is so playful and seems to be about discovery and delight. Thanks.

Or maybe
the guy has simply watched too many American movies. The picture was taken in Seoul, not by me, so I have no idea what the neighbourhood is.

Coolness
I like the sounds you've incorporated in this piece. There are certain parts that remind me of a video game I used to play, very cool. Hehe, dig the pic too!

In and out of fashion (and back in)
Old style synth sound interplay demonstrates nicely how things go out of fashion and the cycle back round. Nice tones and a cleverly constructed piece. Thanks for the posting. Regards, Peter.

Very well done
I was sure I had heard some of those tones before and when I read the reply to Andrews comment I realized from where. I had both the Vic 20 and Commodore 64 I didn't use them for any music applications though. I like this, it is very cool Vic.
Peace

The
Industrial sounding percussion combined with the low end sets a nice groove.
I really like the way the song progresses especially when the more complex parts kick in at about 1:55 or so.
This makes for a very interesting piece to listen to.

I used to have
a Commodore Amiga and had a wonderful introduction to synthy sounds using Octamed.
This sounds strangely warm and "human" for a synth-based tune.
Very enjoyable listen in fact.
Cheers,
Neil

Contrast!!!
After the Farne Boat Trip where I loved your work, this is different journey...very different. I can't make out the imagery...let me try...a circus, clown on springs, lots of smiling kids' faces! And the jester's dancing merrily around! Great adventure! Loving this trip too!

cybercrunchies
downtown and the temponauts. I enjoyed the seemingly simple inertia you create with this, nice groovy rhythm, and the white-noise percussion feels like digital disturbances in the synaptic wiring of this gamebot... like a robot that has taken on damage, but is still limping along, pretending to be cool :-) I liked the touch of reverb giving this more than 8 bits of space.
