Description
another experiment, this one was done for a mates film, hence the really long intro (sorry), but i thought i'd start posting more music, and this is the first. More to come!

Samples are from Billy Holiday, Edith Piaf and a small clip from the 'lets get lost documentary about chet baker.
It repeats itself alot, but it's just suppose to be a slow builder i guess. Not finished this one, but hope you like anyway!

:)

block rockin beats ?
Very nice bit of audio chill out for this Sunday afternoon.
Really good use of samples and doesn't feel annoying or repetitive like some vox samples can do because your samples work with thew tune and chord changes.
When the full beat kicks in I might have felt just a slight inclination to put a bit of reverb on the drums..but it's not the be all and end all and it works well without it.
Apart from that great stuff and thanks for the download
cheers

McMenemy - Southampton?
A good combination!

Nice track. Not quite as sweet as 1976, but good, all the same!

Cheers

Has a touch of Moby.....
...in the intro section.... A number of Moby tunes have popped up in my iTunes lately while I've been shoveling snow, so I'm sort of tuned into that sound.....

You've done a good job incorporating the looped vocal bits into the synth and drum bed so that they seem to arise naturally and not from some different sonic space.... Pretty hypnotic, and I can imagine either studying to it or dancing to it...

Great Mix
I would say this is neat, clean & interesting especially with the distant vocals. Yes, you're also right in that the intro is a bit long. Cheers / Mike
