Sometime drinkin

Description
I wanted to write a traditional blues song and had an idea of just sitting, enjoying the view, maybe a bottle of wine or some beers and some friends round to play some blues. And this is what came out. Hope you like it.

Lyrics
I been sometime drinkin’ Baby, drinkin’ all the time
I been sometime drinkin’ Baby, drinkin’ all the time
I been sometime drinkin’ Baby, makin’ water from my wine

I been sometime talkin’Baby, talkin’ all the time
I been sometime talkin’Baby, talkin’ all the time
I been sometime talkin’Baby, talkin’ to some friendsa mine

I been sometime watchin’ Baby, watchin’ all the time
I been sometime watchin’ Baby, watchin’ all the time
I been sometime watchin’ Baby, ‘fore the drinkin’ make me blind

yeah, nice slide work Grahame. Loob is probably right about the percussion needing to stand out a little more. love your vocals here - very convincing blues, great toe tapper! thanks!

Nicely done, like the riff and the turnaround is coolio! Agree drum loop could be louder but good tune.

Blue harbour
Nice pic, though hardly a typical blues scene!

Unlike the music, it's right in there to my ear. Nice guitar work particularly.

Enjoyed.

Everybody must get Drink'en
sometimes. The opening reminded me of B Dylan's emortal classic along that same genre.

Way to go on this one..........

Slide into the Blues
Hey Grahame I too am diggin' that slide. Vocals are very good too. And the drums could be out front a bit more.

Nice bit of blues! Nice photo too. I would bring your voice down a touch, lift the drums up and it would be perfect. Cool song.

The Blues
Just the good 'ol blues--love it! I can just see people jamming out to this barefoot during a 4th of July barbecue. Nice guitar solo in the middle--lilting and slow. This is a great drinking song . . . .

sometime drinkin
where's the place? is it cornwall? mousehole? there's a very easy relaxed feel to this and i particularly like the vocal and where you put it in the mix...dry and out front. nice 3am mix and the image of drugged drunkeness comes through micely (sic) the ending was a bit abrupt...wot no flourish?
