Just Another Day
Wild chord changes! Very adventurous harmonically! Nice melody! There's both and urgency and relaxed atmosphere in this. It's nice to hear you again Jessica! It's been too long!

NIce Vocals Jessica...
I would suggest they be out in front of the mix a little bit more. Good song. Easy on the ears. Like the telephone effect. Good job.

creative
Liked the edgy dissonance which seemed to match the theme of your lyrics of uncertainty, yet filled with hope.

Sometimes the greatest ideas just come out of nowhere, and your two hours shows you got the creative juices going. Nice work.

Be nice if you posted your lyrics for all.

Impressed
In just two hours? i would still be picking strings with a bemused and despairing expression on my face at that point if it was me!

Enjoyable. Especially liked the lyrics. Simple effective accompaniment. Liked the quieter section, too.

i think it would be well worth doing another version with more instrumentation/vocal harmonies, perhaps?

Thanks for the post.

Just another day
This is pretty intense, with nice periods of calm that keep you on your toes. For a two hour job, that's very impressive. I can only echo Marc and say it takes me two hours to get started! There's some good advice from the others above so might be nice to revisit it sometime with some of their suggestions. But enjoyed this very much. Nice work! Good to have you back Jessica.
