Description
I wrote this tune with th e same 4 chords over and over and over for the verse, pre-chorus and chorus and just changed the dynamics and vocal line. Hang in there...it's going somewhere. Thanks for listening.

love it
i knew it was going to open up eventually but was surprised that when it did it was more americana than the indie fuzz i expected. really dig it. i like the plinky lead (i think that's lead, right, not synth?) great vocals and great use of space and emotion. deserves several listens. haven't seen your stuff before, now i've got to go see what else you've posted. thanks for the DL!

4 chords over and over and over
Sounds like a good technique to me. I only use three, but one day....

Well, you took your time building this up and I really like that. The very sparse first half of the tune has an up close and intimate feel to it and when you "hit the ground running open road" I was really happy to hear your guitar. Really nice sound. I wanted it to come back after the plinky lead part and take me a bit further down the road, but I understand that gas is nearing $4 a gallon so we shouldn't be wasteful.

Cool tune.

Hi jobu. Like the way the song builds. 4 chords is enough. Like your vocal work too. Good song all round. In fact, a D/L! Thanks. Regards, Peter.

sometimes
the first 4 are what you got to stick with, great build up. the talking heeds did allot of songs where the chord structure never really hits a bridge, only the lyrics change the dynamics . you hit the ground running when the drums come in very clever, excellent song!
