Lyrics
My Boys
Growing Up and Falling down,
Trying to find your way
Each and every day

I wonder what you will be when you grow up.
Ride a rocket or
Fly a pick-up truck?
Have you learned from my day,
ready for come what may?

Hi Feter, the bass is the Garageband emulated Bassman amp through the phaser effect.

Well done
Hi Pete. Like the tone of the guitars and bass in this. The song conveys it's message in a very simple and direct way. Well done. Regards, Peter.

Each time you introduced a new instrument I kept thinking yeah love that sound. Lots of emotion in your vocal. Nicely done. Cool to have a sonic snapshot like this.

Nice strumming pattern. I like the melody, cool wah guitar. Your voice is a little low in the mix.

Thanks Guys
Holy, I almost forgot I posted this!

It's rough but as KTB says, I was happy with the "sonic snapshot".

Nothing inspires me quite like those two little guys.

Lovely recording Dave
I love the low key and the wonky bass. This reminds me of a lot of music I thought I'd forgotten - if you get my drift.
Nice track.

Loved the instrumental - what's no to like? A nice evocation of a fathers hope for his sons. I would have liked the vocals further forward - but then my ears ain't what they ysed to be!!

I like that up close...
...dry, acoustic guitar tone, especially with that growly bass....The left and right parts are nicely locked in with each other...

It really suits the vocal tone you've used on this...

Neat wah playing, too, Pete... Very tasteful...

the kind
of guitar I like! you play very nicely shades of Hendrix watchtower I'm catching here,, I miss the 60s and 70s where guitars soared and really led. this is bringing it back ;-) cool track thanks for hitting the record button
