Order Amidst Chaos

I was deeply affected by the Canary Island time lapse video that Bud linked to a couple of days ago and this piece started out as a time-lapse-soundtrack, with the Northern Lights as my 'picture' or backdrop. The order out of chaos is the semblance of lines and design in the way that the Solar Wind phenomenon happens.

The piece is around thirteen minutes long and has some more chaotic sections towards the end and the fade-out starts from around minute eleven.

I had to pause it a few times, but now I'm sitting back and listening again while sipping my evening coffee. Wonderful journey, as always!

Order Amidst Chaos
Hi Paul - i'm so sorry this terrific song got knocked off the music page by the "art show"! this is another winner in the best of the reinholt tradition - extended version!

Hi Karen.......
I could have sworn that I replied to this and at least one other comment last night but maybe not. I don't worry about my stuff being paged off but the fact that he had scant regard for anyone else was what got to me and brought on 'the rant'. I hate selfish!!

The ending to this piece could have come a little sooner but I was greedy with the mix. Oops!!

Take care.

Hi Patricia....
It's good of you to drop by to sample my music. I tend to take people on inner journey's that could end up just about anywhere. Your own imagination always helps in these trips. Bring along what ever thoughts you may have.

Take care.

Sorry you got avalanched!
Fortunately I saw this last night but could not listen until now. I always enjoy these longer pieces and the moods you convey in them; very well worth listening to and thought I'd let you know how much I enjoyed the experience. Thanks again now! Michael

Hi Michael.....
As I was saying to Karen, I don't mind the 'push down the page' but the sheer selfishness had me looking for a keyboard and some words to rant on about.

Thanks for the kind words. You're always welcome on these journeys through the imagination.

Take care.

When I travel...
...to outer space (probably my ashes in a time capsule of some sort!), I am going to insist that my iPod be loaded with your intriguing music, Paul. 13 minutes is not too long to decompress and downshift from the craziness that has become the fabric of 21st c. life. Characteristically, you take your time to slide all of these atmospheric tracks across one another, creating, in the end, a soundscape that is inescapably mesmerizing and (not oddly) calming. This particular track strikes me a peaceful and less foreboding than some of your other work. I am now in a trance of sorts! You are the master of this genre. No doubt about it.
Check out my latest song called 185

Hi Paul.....
Your thoughts always bouy me up. It makes the practicalities of putting this sort of mix together all the more worthwhile.

Don't forget some alternate music on your playlist to eternity.

Take care.
