Description
This was really just how I felt yesterday. I created the foundation with drum loops and midi keys then plugged in my old jazzmaster and got rid of a lot of anxiety. One take with the guitar so it's a bit harsh in spots. Not everybody's cup of tea ...who needs therapy when you have garageband.

You too?
Sometimes I feel like that everyday...but even a machine needs recharging! I'm glad you found it in garage band.

I enjoyed this piece, with all its gurgling with mechanized bleeps and blips. Your guitar work to me is amazing, and for a single take "wow" comes to mind. take care patty :)

Cool track! That is some tasty playing you have happening here. And the tone is awesome. A jam like this is a great release for both the player and the audience. Thanks for sharing.

garageband therapy
you mean the obsession with making music using GB can actually help me! Love the jamming on top of the fx! I really enjoyed the bending and warping in this!

Hey Sammy...
Thanks for listening. I did try the hi-lo passing and it separates things much better. Thanks for the tip. Now if I could find a way to get rid of the buzz when I plug in my electric and give it some overdrive. I can really here it between notes.
Thanks Sammy.

This would be great driving music...
Or, even better, a driving game underscore... Heroic soloing! Melodic and tasty, nice juxtaposition with the electronic underbed. Way to shred in the shed!

city atmospheric
not my sort of thing (at first) but it was well done and kept moving. It took too long to get to the lead guitar, that was some good stuff.

Guitar playing is one of the best forms of therapy I think there is! Love that jazzmaster tone and that you got this in one take is very cool. Over rehearsed and overplayed can sound dead and you've captured that raw sound spot on. Beautiful soloing and very fresh sounding. Excellent playing!

Good song....
I read what Sam asked about the hi-lo pass filters they truly help in
a lot of ways, they are only good when your trying to lock into a particular
kind of sound..... And your reply about your Guitar noise, you can edit
out all of that except for what is on the NOTE but in-between the notes
you can grab that by editing, I really like editing the pros do it all the time it makes every note so clean and distinct it makes the sound standout in the track.....

Nice tune you have here garageband has done it justice.....

the beginning....
... reminds me of the rhythm intro to the song "Tighten Up" by Archie Bell and the Drells (sixties). But that is where the similarities end. Since the purpose of your song is to relieve anxieties, maybe an alternative title could be "Lighten Up!" Nice guitar riffing...

cheers,

I Am A Machine
A groove machine. Some terrific change ups & killer vibe. Even though you mentioned the foundation being loops/and or midi they sounded very organic. Like some terrific session guys jamming off the cuff. Solo was sweet. Nicely done

Oh ya!
NICE guitar work!! Some time all it takes is one take...and the first one is usually the best.

You should put this under rock instrumentals.

Loved it!

Power
Wow! THe backing track is sort of overwhelming, but in a good way! THe guitar lines are amazing strong and expressive. Compulsive listening. The extra "machine" type bits give an added dimension to the whole piece. I'll be interested to see what you create in other moods, too! Thanks for sharing it.

Just listened to Skean (Kenta) and
"deep under" segued straight into this and how neatly it followson....I may have to compile an ambient rock album....great work here....you know "mood" music plays very well as opposed to music which tries to create a mood .....oh I know what I mean..this follows with my last JFTHoIt (kind words ,thanks)so I really get where people are or were when they say "this reflects how I was feeling"....greataroony !!
