Drifting on the Swell

All Omnisphere this one, eight tracks. What a beast Omnisphere is! Hard to tame indeed, this may have to be remixed at some point. Seven and a half minutes long and in three sections, though they sort of blend in with each other. Hope you can listen all the way through, and if you do, many thanks!

great cinematic soundtrack
it sounds beautiful and ambient. It also could be filed under cinematic soundtrack...sort of.

Great piece! Loved every minute of it.

Those seven and a half minutes melted by, Dave. This was great just to sit back and experience all the textures and (dare I say it) swells. Omnisphere is way beyond my grasp, so fair play on such a successful production! To say this is atmospheric seems obvious, but with the panning textures and slowly changing moods, that's as good a description as I can manage. Very very cool.

Taming the beast
Oh ... my ... gosh. I actually started to salivate. DL'ed to further nurture my envy. One of the purest floating ambient pieces ever. Some mixing improvements could help -- not up to your usual technical standards -- but the music ... just ... glorious. Sigh ....

atmospheric Dave..... the subtlety of the intermittent tinkling sounds is lovely..... it's like walking (or floating) along a windswept beach or some dreamlike or ghostly dockyard..... just beautiful and certainly worth all the 'taming' of the beast....... and so relaxing, regards M

this is swell...
really! I felt like I was entombed in the ocean currents, carried along in an alien atmosphere. Wonderful.

Dave, you get such richness and depth from your synths - it's a real signature of yours that I enjoy a lot. Around 5:30 I found myself underwater - swimming through beds of waving kelp and enjoying the view.
Another classy piece from you.
Cheers from Oz,

oh my
you have outdone yourself and tamed that beast. seriously, downloaded and going to the top of my ipod playlist. i could listen to this for hours. the wavy, base sound is just gorgeous and calming, and all your movement over the top is excellent. i'm gonna say this doesn't need a remix. wow dave.

suspended ambiation
sunlight captured in a dewdrop, hanging perilously and beautifully under a rose petal. colors dance within, and brilliance dances without... sometimes the most cosmic events happen at a microscopic level. Wonderfully alluring and gentle.
