Description
..yup, this song is completely without any Tolkien trees... ;o)

This isn't old school, just what I knocked up with the presets in a few hrs ...
sounds to me like some weird Rammstein, U2, Donna Summer cross .. don't you just hate it when that happens? lol..

Enjoy. Thanks to the challenge organisers.

Man this is killin this challenge, some parts remind me of the sound track to Midnight Express, cool break in the middle its the kind of break where everyone stops dancing looks up then starts again, Tops!

Groove
XLNT - to me, this one is begging out for screaming guitars at some point(s).

Maybe not old school production
but that is one seriously old skool bass sequence rolling out at the head. Sounds exactly like my Sequential Circuits Pro-One. Add the two note glide arpeggio and you are cooking with with your Kangol on. Great track - the tal never sounded better.

Nice!
Very good electronic mix - quite an effort getting beats out with one drum per track - the pause is very cool. I'll have to stop mucking with my Moog AUs and try this one out.

Electropop isn't usually on my listen list, but this is pretty groovy, Kraftwerky in a way. Lots of saw toothed synths... with a pad or two to soften the blow...;-) cool.

you ent misbehavin' again, are ye?
holy mother of electronicaze, this is deeply trance-inducing, in a spacey rich chewy way (as opposed to the usual boring forest-of-synths-trance)... I like this!

Nice___
Wow! What a great job you did here Alan. There are a couple of areas that really stood out to me. (the arpeggio breaks and the silence in the middle) The beat and sounds were all very well picked. Awesome job using this one synth.

Enjoyed - Thanks for sharing,

mvh : )

this sounds so tuff I'm feelin the love. I was in a technopop band in 1983 called melting crabs oh I came up with a Donna summer song at the same time my buddy did but they were 2 diff songs so we played em both ;-) this has got my juices flowin ;-) good job!

Transitions
Love your description. The moments of transition in the track are cool. And the moment of silence. You create nice anticipation. I'm with Steck about the screaming guitars....

Woah
Really great track. Love the forward and background balance. Incredible clean production considering TAL is not the easiest synth to get clean. Congrats on a great track.
