(one minute) in flight

Description
This is for the One Minute Song Challenge. The rhythm track was built mostly from recordings of machines found in GB and freesound.org. I keyboard typed a bass and piano line as well and then it all sat for a month or two. That first stage was done on board a Jet Blue flight to San Francisco. The rest was done yesterday in response to the challenge - using only the tal noisemaker synth. This is kind of a follow up the Terminator track that precedes it.
Thanks M2 for inspiration - and thanks for dropping by to listen. Criticism and comments always welcome.

I did not
know that such a challenge existed...sheesh I should pay more attention to my deficit....this is spookily Sci Fi eerie,,,,short but that is obviously the point....you should maybe develop it into a longer piece for consumption on another post...just an idea.....

Hi Bud.....
This is a great mix. A flight of fancy. Very interesting to listen to.

An excellent entry for the one minute challenge.

Take care.

That's film scoring for you
Mostly it isn't longer than that. A pity sometimes, but there you go. Nice going on this one, Kevin. Very evocative...

Take care,

Definite sci-fi vibe from this one too. The mother ship can land if it's bringing along cool tunes like this one!

Industrial funk
I live in Bethlehem, PA so the machinery sounds take me back...man, though, 12 seconds over...I thought it was a bit long...I have a short attention span :)

Great stuff and hope you continue to root for the Phils in Brooklyn...

tight interlude
you jam a lot of tasty goodness and promise into a small temporal space, perfect slow build in a shoebox of time.

I like the spiraling intro. Is there a reverse effect there? It really sets up the track nicely. I too would have liked to hear more. We need a 2 minute challenge.

Enveloping
I dare anyone listening to this and try not to imagine being chased by slow moving, weightless machines hovering above you, tracking any suspicious behavior. Critisism? Too short - no that's the challenge? Maybe the synth chords are bit friendly, or 'familiar' for the otherworldly, intriguing, creative and original moog/soundbed/rhythm? Nah, it's perfect.

Ezekiel
once in a while when i'm traveling i'll find myself in the hotel room with an hour to spare before bedtime with nothing to read (and no internet!) - and there is almost always a Gideons Bible tucked in a drawer. it so happens that happened last night and i read Ezekiel - you know, the wheels within wheels thing...

this would have been perfect music to read that with!

thanks

Packs a lot into a minute.
Very nice, interesting that you took time out of that minute for a careful build-up. Nicely done.
