Lyrics
he silently shivers
he knows that hes home
home is the one place
hes been there and done

the thought is persisting
the winds numbing howl
love is much better
for chickens and cows

somebody somewhere has said
you know that youll always be my friend
thats when you stand up and shout and cry over the water
you sure made my life what it is

we silently shiver
we know that youre home
home is the one place
youve been there and done

the thought is persisting
the winds numbing cold
love is much better
for the young than the old

dont walk out on me
wait there for me
i didnt learn this
from moms old tv

Calming...
Nice extended intro leads into some quality dual vocal work. The song has a calming, slightly ethereal quality that is enhanced by the acoustic guitar work. Well done. Regards, Peter.

I really like this. It's very original and different. Like that major 7th chord and the little harmonic pinches on the acoustic. Good lyrics and vocals. Like the melody ... very floaty...You are from Van Island? I come from Bowen Is.
Great tune

been there and done
great stuff. some nice lines - 'been there and done', 'moms old tv'. you always write high quality bedroom rock and this is no different, this one reminds me of east river pipe, happily downloaded as always.

awesome
another triumph for SM7! great lyrics, guitar, singing, melody.
really enjoyed it.
only thing a bit distracting is popping on the "b" sounds on the vocals.
I don't know if pop filters go against the lo-fi aesthetic, but just a thought.
look forward to the next one... applause!
