Description
Jason de Caires Taylor is an artist that creates unique underwater sculptures that focus on natural ecological processes.
He has a series of work called Vicissitudes that "depicts a circle of figures, all linked through holding hands. These are life-size casts taken from a group of children of diverse ethnic background. Circular in structure and located five meters below the surface, the work both withstands strong currents and replicates one of the primary geometric shapes, evoking ideas of unity and continuum.”

This song began along time ago as a general idea- that one goes through their entire life with a beginning and an end. This is at the beginning... At some point I believe that we step into eternity. Whether it is at death or sometime during the time that we are living here on earth... making the ending of this human existence somewhat irrelevant to our Spirit.

Very cool stuff... sort of a chilled vacuum for your sax to dance in, not unlike the universe itself. Reminds me of K.I.S.Kismet here a little. Yes, I could hear some chants or enigmatic singing over this.

A good start........ahhh me I am so irreverent ...but then I had a listen and, well, bugger me I still think the artwork looks like a depiction of that joke but the music is super....Nice post ,great job

Super
Cool tune here. Love this single groove riff. I feel totally at home in a song like this. Just my style. Are the percussion elements your doing? They so well done and interestingl. Haunting sax is awesome. The effects on the sax near the end are killer. Can't think of anything that isn't just right here. Downloaded for sure!

Andy, like the ever present rhythm here. Cool use of synth effects and, and tasteful subtle key work. Your horn sounds terrific, and Kudo's on the restraint. For me your sax added just the right coloring and tensions.

Hi Andy.....
I enjoyed th movement you portray in this piece and the ideas behind the theme. Great ideas that I agree with but from a differing angle. Same end but different 'middle'.

The sculpures look very interesting. I must have a look at the artists work more closely.

Take care.

When I firts discovered synthesizers back in - uh, last century, I gravitated to this sound almost immediately and appreciated the many artists who did also. Tangerine Dream, machine music by Kraftwerk. It was inherent and still is.... oh ya... and easy.

What a fantastic inspiration! I dig the atmosphere you created, and can't imagine adding anything, other than a video of these wild art manifestations... a bit of both I believe. I discovered Tangerine Dream a long time ago during my developmental years and they really resonated with me. But mostly, it has been some of our collaborations with yourself and bryn, (and moany others) that have had the influence of encouragement to go ahead and venture out and see 'what's out there' Thanks
