Unbound

Description
Here is another rather simple melodic composition made of two motives that can be easily looped and played over and over ... like a long winding journey that carries us to a distant goal. Sometimes there are times in life where we can feel the distant goal, the long journey that leads us there and our present state as a one single moment. These moments are magic and make us feel truly Unbound. I hope you will enjoy!

One can almost smel that fresh salty air..
I don't feel it was necessarily your artwork that planted that notion in my head upon listening to this--I grew up by the sea and this is how it felt at night when we were bringing the boat in. That is quite remarkable, do be able to paint that image in music. Beautifully done Honza--thank you for sharing this with us! Michael

bringing the boat in
Unfortunately in my country we do not have sea, but in my dreams and imaginations I can sometimes go to all kinds of places :) Very often music is the vehicle to bring me there.
I am glad you stopped by.
Take care!

Beautiful piece
Soon bed time here and this is a lovely way of winding down for the night. Very peaceful and soothing without getting superficial. An immediate download.

And it turns out that this was my # 1300 in my MacJams playlist in iTunes. What a great place this is :-)

Thanks again for sharing your great music with us!

Take care,
Henke

Bed time
In fact I am on the same side of the globe as you now so soon will be in bed too. I am sure I will have a good sleep after becoming the 1300th # in your MJ iTunes playlist :)
Thanks a lot for nice comment, I am glad you enjoyed!

Enjoyed it :)
Love the simplicity in the beginning, and then it seem to open up with a beautiful ambiance of spaciousness and serenest. The kind you can only find when you appreciate the little things in life.

Beautiful beginning harmonies and then builds into a wonderful melodic ambient piece. Great job with the nuances of sounds and the mix. Enjoyed this very much and the picture!

Sea shanty
is what I'm thinking, at the start. This is really special. Such a simple melody weaving in and out of some excellent synth voices. It's quite lovely, indeed.

Thank you Dave for nice comment. The voices are from EWQL Symphonic choirs - boys voice library ... with great loads of echo on it :)

Beautiful
Flowing melody, clear & bright recording of the instruments and a well developed theme. I like the way you introduce little touches to add richness throughout. I like the guitar tone and looked up Godin and Breedlove guitars - nice instruments! I hadn't heard of them - maybe I should get out more :-) Lovely photo to go with it! Much enjoyed.

a gentle pace
3/4 seems to often evoke water imagery, and is a favorite ic42-signature, as is a beautifully simple melody, molded and developed in the hands of a master.

The point at 2:10 opens out and begins to sound a bit like a lost M. Oldfield track. The constant re-telling of the theme with different shades of instrumentation is skillfully done here. The mix is open and airy, and your guitar playing, as always, is a delight.

Apologies for being called away from macjams for so long, but this is a wonderful piece to return to.

Drakonis

a great deal of beauty out of these motives my friend. Flows wonderfully.
