Description
Jazz . . . LIVE.

2-person collaboration.

Jonte is using a Ludwig super classic buddy rich model
with paiste line & sound formula cymbals . . .

Ensoniq & Kurzweil Keyboards.

this is a jazz take-off / improv. from bach's and jethro tull's "Bouree".

All piano parts are done together on the first run . . . I'm using left hand key-bass. what's happening here - is - the bass is the same piano as the rest - it is all the same piano patch - it is just the left hand part. (ensoniq)
it is just in the left hand - really appreciate your noticing the left hand part !

Jonte has hereby dedicated this project to his stepchildren Colin and Lola LeStrum.

And I dedicate it to my close and far friends and loved ones.

Bourree
I love when an artist creates a jazz arrangement for a piece of classical or baroque music. This one even took a little turn toward progressive rock. Great stuff Scott. Thanks for sharing this!

Impressive improv :-)
Clever, inventive improvisation that benefits from some nice live sounding drum work. Like what was going on around the 3 minute mark. Well done, Scott, and friends. Something a bit different than the standard MJ fare. which I enjoyed. Regards, Peter.

(entailing bourree' and also highlighting the other tunes therein.)
it was just converted from the old clunky vcr cassette - to digital - it is filmed at minnehaha falls and other places - it turned out to be comical in addition to being a historical expl. of tom sayers, bill heenan and 1850's victorian brighten, england - thanks for yall's interest.

Jolly!
I've always liked this tune, and this version is an interesting take on it - really clean sounding and works really well. Drum solos are fab, and I like the way the bass is there but quite low in mix. My toes are tapping!

Back to Bach
Great fun. Very cool with the two hand thing going, even though I think I'd prefer just piano for the keys. Left hand is kind of soft. Oh, and although I totally dig Jethro Tull and their version of this, Bourrée in E minor is a lute piece, the fifth movement from Suite in E minor for Lute by Johann Sebastian Bach. I dig Bach too.

Thanks for sharing this. Tons of energy.

hi
people don't seem to understand - this is all piano - the bass part too - just all done at once - same channel - otherwise - i could
adjust it more - thanks for the attentive listen !

Left hand piano
what an interesting concept... can you imagine? A left handed Grand??? It's like, do the make left handed violins?

:D

Great "live" take, enjoyed, thank you

left hand strings
there's a logistics & safety issue with left handed string instruments in an orchestra... :D

hah
this is funny - LOL -
I have always been this kind dove a player -
usually doing bass in the left instead of chords -
- as out band has no bass player -
but sometimes I do chords in the left.
and I bought this fake right hand at the dollar store
but it still was $3.59 - it is creepy and has blood on it -
but the hand looks very real ! -
I heard jenna j_ _ _ _ _ _ makes lots and lots of money
also cloning some of her parts and getting them into stores.
thanks for the listen !
