Description
This is a development of a previous posting (http://www.macjams.com/song/69626). Scotty Johnson offered to add a few things to it and I was quick to accept! The differences between this posting and the previous one are:
• synth added as an orchestration of the tune
• my bass line deleted and a new one by Scotty added (a great improvement!)
• the strummed rhythm guitar deleted - not needed in this mix.

Some remixing then to make all those things sit together. I think it has a languid feeling that suggests a picnic in the park - hence the photo (taken on a sunny day in Brisbane, Australia).

Of course, if there's a sensitive minded percussionist or vocalist/lyricist who can bring something to the party - welcome aboard!

Hope you enjoy this new version - and thanks again to Scotty for his generosity in applying his considerable talents to this music.

Very nice! A big improvement of what was already a very nice track! Scott's bass is solid with a tone that sits perfectly in the track!

Wonderfully open and spacious...
Hi Philip. I really like what Scotty has brought to the table on this and the mix is wonderfully open and spacious. It has improved upon an already fine instrumental. Congratulations to both of you. Regards, Peter.

Yes, I think Scotty added an ethereal element to it with the synth, and his bass playing almost provides a second melody line it is so smooth and interesting. I am delighted with what this has become.

Mix
Thanks for the comments! I thank Scotty for the blend of the sounds - his additions rounded the tune out with his bass and synth lines. All these "Guitars" things are fairly short (in fact, most of my songs are) - it might mean I have a short attention span? Oh well, next time... Thanks for listening!
