Tyrolean Dream

Description
Just over seven minutes long, made mostly with the Zebra Synth. Slow and twinkly, as I like it. The cover art is a photo I took two years ago, in the Italian Tyrol.

Have a listen if you like, hope you can enjoy. Thanks!

Soothing
Nice and soft bed of lush sounds. The arpeggio-sounding melody emerging at 04:20 is fantastic. Well done!

Hi Dave....
Your work is truly inspiring. I enjoy your musical pictures and appreciate the work you must put into each one. The atmosphere evoked was very much a Tyrolean? atmosphere, where the cows have bells around their necks and the high pastures and mountain air, etc.. Very, very nice.

A lovely, atmospheric Ambient piece.

Take care.

"slow and twinkly" - a great way to describe this piece. You have created an interesting immersive listening experience here, which just so happens is perfect for a Sunday morning. Enjoyed - thanks!

Lovely
Great relaxing piece of beautiful music. Just what I needed today, before start of term tomorrow. No difficulty in enjoying this. A sure download and immediate favorite. Not just a click favorite, a real top favorite which I hope I will play a lot in the future. Thank you very much for this gift.

Take care,
Henke

P.S. We did go to Hagenbeck's zoo in Hamburg this summer but we didn't see this Zebra synth. Some clever animal that, it seems...

How can
you get such lovely descriptive and ambient music to flow from one synth? I've had Zebra for a while now and can't get anything out of it LOL. Love the dreamy quality here Dave and those mountain Church bells are wonderful, giving movement..... full of fresh air this piece......... you sure know what you're doing Dave..... just beautiful, regards M

Screw my workout...
...I'd rather listen to Davajonah! Four seconds of this and I'm feverishly pushing the "favorite" button over and over again, as hard as I can. That's sort of like exercise, right? In all seriousness, I am in awe of your music. It takes real craft and restraint to paint these pictures with ambient sound...music that doesn't rely on a drumbeat loop or in-your-face sound. I love what happens at 4:08 and 4:55. You are truly inspiring!

A Dream Indeed
Dave, you are one of the artists where I hit Download first and ask questions later. This piece does not change my strategy.

Love the warm wash that cleanses the senses and rejuvenates the spirit. Your patience in the development is something I can learn from. A lovely soundscape which makes this morning all the brighter.

Cheers,
Doug

Sound alpinist
Great choice of sounds that sound really classy and create nice atmosphere of an ice kingdom. I especially appreciated this on a warm summer evening. The pace of the whole thing is very calming and takes the listener into the inner worlds. Thanks a lot for sharing this, much enjoyed!

wonderful
nice flowing synths and the use of the bell tones is amazing. I've been to the Austrian Tyrol and I'm sure it's very similar - great swathes of very flat land suddenly rising into spectacular mountains. This sounds certainly captures that feeling. Good work.
