Gotta hear more about the home-grown
tape simulator - was it just for the ending or used throughout? I'm guessing it was the reversing and Tempo/Pitch changes in Audacity - but I can't figure out how you made it progressive. This is fantastic. Also tell us about how you used the die. The drums and change at 3:00 are excellent. Nice work.

Another astronomer
Saw the title and rushed right over. Cool spacey sounds - check. Lots of interesting things in the soundfield - check. Melodic segments and driving beats that come and go to ground the rest of the goings on - check. And a drawing of the starfield around M104 - cool.

Good one Bill! Thanks for the new tune for the old iPod.

Averted Vision
This is very cool. It starts very jazzy with the rhythm. Actually great job with the drums throughout. I like the different sounds and nuances going on. Averted vision is an interesting technique that I use when I am painting or drawing sometimes. Enjoyed this!

Nice driving rhythms and spacey exotica...all good! Frequent tones reminded me of stepping cautiously across a cosmic bridge.
Ending kinda came out of nowhere, but ultimately fun. Did he fall off the bridge or reach the end where he was transported away? Hmmm...
