Description
Written and recorded in less than an hour. Used Garageband to record an out of tune guitar with the built in mic on my computer. If I get enough favorable response I will properly record. I already have ideas to make it better...

So what's improper about this recording? I think it sounds great. Strong song! I love the guitar playing and sound. The little melodic phrase between verses is sweet. This one is a keeper!

The built in mic gives it a nice homespun feel. Your vocal sounds great. An hour well spent. Nice.

California Please...
This is a nice song with a good sound.
It could benefit from some eq to ease the boom in low end, but otherwise quite good. Amazing how good even basic low-budget stuff is these days. (I once did a vocal acoustic recording direct to GB with a '70s vintage clipon plastice mic, with good results--I don't know if $300 would have improved the sound in that case.) Mic placement is usually a much bigger factor, especially for this kind of arrangement.

None the less, if *you* hear ways to make it better, give it another go 'round.

Thank you
Thanks everyone for the very nice comments...I'm gonna re-record here in a bit. Add some different chords in the chorus as well as some harmony to set the chorus out a bit. Again, thanks for the encouragement. I need it sometimes!
