Description
Mr Left: I think I'll put this on MacJams
Mr Right: Are you insane?

Mr Left: Well I thought people in Texas might like it...
Mr Right: Yeah, sure - people from the home of Stevie Ray would like this? Only someone from Australia would think that!

Mr Left: Well at least it only goes for 1:43
Mr Right: That's about 1:40 too long. And whose idea was the sound effects?
Mr Left: I thought they were funny.
Mr Right: Oh dear...

Mr Left: Just a bit of practice - you know I did the drums myself with the pencil?
Mr Right: Sounds like it. I hope Loob or Kevmikwa don't listen.

Mr Left: I only took me an hour from start to finish.
Mr Right: There's a lesson in that...

Mr Right: Time to get working on something better than this!
Mr Left: Whoops. Too late. I just hit "Submit".

Heigh Ho Silver!
Although this is more like gold Philip! I love your dialogue about this one above. I really enjoyed the rambling, open air feel of this! The drums sounded fine and the special FX were a very nice and thoughtful touch. All around good work from you and that guitar and thanks for sharing it Philip (I needed something just like this coming home from work tonight)!

Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it, Michael. It certainly sits nicely in that "I'm winding down" mode!

Mr Left is right...
I think Mr Left is right. Or has Mr Right been left out alone by himself on the range for too long? The sound effects work well and the piece had me reaching for my chaps (oops, gave away too much there...) The cymbal out on the right seems to have been ostracized by the rest of the drum kit :-) Talk soon, Peter.

Thanks
I might remix and invite that cymbal back a little closer to the campfire, so it doesn't get taken by coyotes in the night!

Parairy
never listen to mr left until it's time for his contribution. all he does is kill mr right's creative flow. Personally, i lock mr left away until mr right has had all the fun he wants, then i release mr left and goes..."are you sure about this?" most times Right doesn't listen. too bad.
your results? just a relaxing piece of art.

Sounds
like the prairie is in a sunny sort of carefree mood!

A rare moment of ease and optimism on the old trail, though still the wolf howls at the end, or was that Mr Right's contribution?

Enjoyed the dialogue and enjoyed the tune.

Thanks

Yes, well, every now and then I stray into the silly side - must admit I enjoyed it, though! Yep, riding on the range was pretty relaxed that day.

First I think your guitars are very smooth and in the cowboy mode but I couldn't stop laughing reading your description ... it's so true , those two voices we have! The left and right are constantly going in my head arguing all day. The sound FX are perfect (and funny) and I'm glad you posted this!
Cheers

Just a bit of fun, Stan. That's the trouble with the performing arts - you just keep on performing. My next project is more serious!

Thanks
Yes, I don't speak "drum Language" very well but I've sacked that crazy Mr Left drummer, Feter. He's not up to the task, simple as it is! Re the tune, I think it has possibilities and I'm still working on it. At some stage, there will be an improved version, I hope. Glad you enjoyed the guitars part - thanks for listening and taking the time to comment.

Hee Haw
Nicely done there Phillip. Unfortunately the days when we hear sounds like those in Texas are mostly gone. Bottled up in cities we hear the usual traffic noises, barking dogs, fighting cats, emergency vehicle sirens etc. But I did like the music. Very nice easy going feel. Now that we can relate to!

Glad you liked the music, Tom. I think it has the makings of something more, and I'll work on that, but for the moment I appreciate your comments and hope it provided a bit of break from the city noise!

Unpretentious
Disclaimer: I HATE Country/Western music, but I confess the description got me to listen and this was pretty cool. I love to hear fun pieces and often have over mixed a really good quick piece into an over-produced mess. This does have a wonderful improvisational feel (there some pretentious praise!). I enjoyed this despite my incoming prejudices.

Glad you enjoyed it, Michael. I probably should have labelled it "Comedy" instead of country and western, because everything about it is a country cliché! Thanks for listening and taking the time to comment.

Thanks, Chris. Just a bit of fun, really - the revised version is a better piee of music, I think, but not as much fun! Thanks for stopping by.
